IT Weapons is Moving
After months of planning, IT Weapons is proud to announce that we are on the move. On Monday December 21, 2009 The team begins operating at our new, redesigned, state-of-the-art office. Although our new office is just 10 kilometres from our Mississauga home of 8 years, the new Goreway Drive facility in Brampton is light-years away in terms of size and amenities.
The team is moving from 6,000 to over 36,000 square feet; plenty of room to grow in the coming years. The team will enjoy a range of innovative creature comforts: a spacious lunch room—with plenty of natural light, meeting rooms all over the building, customer workspaces, training rooms, conference facilities, large washrooms (with showers), lots of parking, higher security, more configuration/build/test space for our technical team, and even a synthetic ice hockey rink.
IT Weapons co-founders Jason MacBean and Ted Garner revealed the new office to the entire ITW family last night during the company's 9th annual Christmas party, hosted at the new Weapons Lair. While there are still some minor renovations to be done around the new office, the impact of last night's reveal was tremendous. The energy and anticipation was palpable.
IT Weapons CEO Ted Garner reflected, "tonight people keep congratulating Jason and I on this accomplishment, which is great, but it's not about us. Tonight is about the team and their families, and this new office is for you guys. This accomplishment is all of ours.
