ShoreTel says "thanks" to their channel partners for the increase in market share for 2008.
In light of their 2008 sales and increased market share, ShoreTel executives have tipped their hats to hard working partners like IT Weapons. In a recent letter from Senior VP of Sales to their resellers, Don Girskis writes, "ShoreTel's share increase is a result of the performance of our channel partners; I thank you for these stellar results."
ShoreTel happily announced that it has achieved the No.1 market share position worldwide for small and midsize businesses according to Q4 2008 data released by the Synergy Research Group.† ShoreTel ranked sixth in market share for unified communications desktop units in large enterprises worldwide. These points were illustrated recently in Synergy's analysis of Collaborative Applications Market Shares, one of the first independent research studies to effectively measure and quantify adoption of unified communications.
Because of its simplicity, ShoreTel's ShoreWare® Call Manager is likely going to become the collaborative application of choice worldwide. According to the Synergy report their global market share increased from 2.8% to 3.0% and their US market share increased from 5.6% to 6.6%.
Additionally, for the second year in a row ShoreTel has received two prestigious 2008 customer satisfaction awards for Achievement in Customer Excellence (ACE). These awards certify, acknowledge, and celebrate outstanding achievement in Overall Customer Satisfaction and Technical Support Satisfaction. To ShoreTel's channel partners Don Girskis writes, "Once again your focus on delivering world-class levels of customer satisfaction resulted in this recognition and shows that we really do care about our mutual customers."
