Looking to upgrade a core server or system? Having trouble with an application not running properly? Need to make sure that your systems aren’t vulnerable to hackers and data thieves? Then you came to the right place! The ITW Professional Services Team is a group of technical experts from a variety of disciplines who assess, build, design, and remediate complex IT systems for companies of all shapes and sizes.

What Can They Do?

When IT Weapons began in 2000, our consulting efforts mainly focused around Citrix builds and deployments. Over the years, the consulting branch has grown from a small Citrix shop to a much larger “Mega-team” consisting of five smaller specialized teams: Microsoft Technologies, Application Delivery, Technical Architecture, Networking, and Virtualization. Each sub-team manages all project related work for their relative area of expertise, while also supporting our Service Desk with critical issues and escalations. Each team is packed with team members that have training, years of experience, and industry certifications in their individual area of expertise.

For example, the Application Delivery team manages projects for the following core disciplines:

  • Citrix XenApp
  • Citrix XenDesktop
  • NetScaler and Load Balancing Technologies
  • Microsoft RDS
  • Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI)

When it comes to the server and Cloud side of your IT infrastructure, the Microsoft Technologies team will be ready to tackle challenges for the following:

  • Microsoft Exchange
  • Windows Server
  • Active Directory
  • SQL
  • SharePoint
  • Office 365
  • Azure
  • And more

For corporate networks, our Networking side manages assessments, builds, and designs for the following:

  • Wireless (Wi-Fi)
  • VPN and Remote Connectivity
  • WAN and SD WAN
  • VoIP Telephony and Unified Communications
  • Network Refreshes
  • Routing and Switching

The Virtualization team manages:

  • Hyper-V solutions
  • Storage and Backups
  • Disaster Recovery solutions
  • Virtual server design and builds

Network and corporate security is of course managed by the Security team, which also handles:

  • Vulnerability Assessments
  • Security Posture Reviews
  • Penetration Testing
  • Security Audits
  • Mobile Device Management (MDM)

Last but not least, is our Technical Architecture team, which is responsible for acting as a primary technical resource on multi-team projects and onboarding new clients to our Service Desk. By dividing our Professional Services team into smaller sub teams, ITW ensures that we always provide technical experts to our clients for every possible need.
